"For some years, CMC Cevenini had been successfully selling Converting Machinery to the UK market through agents. In 1994, Carlo Cevenini realized that the UK market would be better supported by opening their own branch in the UK, originally situated in the West of London. Due to growing demand for CMC Cevenini Automatic Log Slitting Machine's, in January 2001 it was necessary to relocate CMC UK to larger premises. Milton Keynes was chosen as a strategic central UK location with excellent access to motorway, rail and airport networks. A purpose built showroom has been commissioned to enable up to 4 different machine models to be made available for customer demonstration and slitting trials. With an increased customer base the requirement to hold more spares and consumables was also a factor, this has led to a new computerized system of stockholding all required parts down to the smallest of components. After sales, operator training, technical support and PM (preventive maintenance) service are all handled by our UK based specialist team, with a same day response time whenever possible.
